6 liter intercooler

i am going to put a 6 liter intercooler into my 00 X soon
i need to know what kind of adapter boots and stuff do i need ?

96 F250 7.3, auto, eclb, D60 swap, TS 6 pos, diy intake, Flo-pro turboback, ccv mod, Isspro gauges, Detroit Truetrac, 16x10 eagles, 315/75/16 Fierce Attitudes

dont do it. its pretty much a downgrade, other than not seeing that much of a noticable gain, youll have plastic tanks instead of your truck(which shooould have) metal tanks on it ,so when you see excess amounts of boost and cfm the tanks can seperate from the cooler. keep what ya got. in fact i ran a hellman/di intercooler for a long while and ended up selling it because there wasnt that much of a gain. stock is great

The stock aluminum end tank 7.3 is hard to beat, and IIRC you'll only see about 50* drop in egts.

2001 F-350, Auto, No Limit Tunes, Autometer Ultra-lite gauges.

well, this is on my old mans x
im kinda pushing him to do it, then i can claim the old one for my OBS :
he's got it stuck in his head that its better
he is also a follower of that powerstroke help guy on you tube

This is the one you want . That Powerstroke Help guy is a douche too , not a well liked guy around PSN.

16yrenthusiest: I would definately stick with the all aluminum tank model like the others said due to your location in Saskatchewan and having cold temps there, plastic can become brittle easily.
Grab the one up for sale as they tend to leave Banks quickly at their online store if you need/want one. That is a great deal IMHO

well the 6.0 cooler would be going onto my dads ex
he thinks its better, he's got one lined up for 168$
im kind of telling him to do it because i want his aluminum tanked thats in it to put in my OBS
