What would you buy???

O.K. I got the DI reg kit,FASS kit with the pump,DI 6 position chip, and unfortunatly the reman motor (). Now I already have 4" turbo back exhaust hooked to dual 5" stacks,Cold Air intake,BD exhaust brake, etc.
I have 600 bucks left. What would you guys buy. I am a hotshot/LTL trucker so I work the dog out of my truck. Its a 2000 F-450.
600 bucks is all that I have left in budget. I am friggin tapped out.
Im lookin for power,reliablity,and economy.

Re: What would you buy???

Auto or Handshaker?

Auto I would go with a good valve body for the trans and a 6.0L trans cooler. Also, see if I could pick-up a 6.0L aftercooler on the cheap.

Re: What would you buy???

Save it and start adding to it.
You'll need it for a clutch or a auto trans rebuild.

Re: What would you buy???

Yeh, I hear ya guys on the damn fuel issue. It is sick out there.

Tranny is something I'm gonna have to keep in mind. Is there a good sight to check out info for shift kit or other adds?

That DI reg retun kit is pure quality. I was impressed when it came in today. I hope it performs as well as it looks. I have faith it will.

http://www.brianstruckshop.com/ Is the site for the commonly known "BTS". I have one of their valve bodies installed in my tranny, along with a precision industries torque converter, and i love the way my trans shifts. There isnt too much info on their site, they are sort of more the "call up" place, but hell ask you alot about your truck, what you want to do, tuning, etc. Brians a good guy, helped me out in a bad situation.

DRW and tow fast parts.......

I got it from puredieselpower.com, for just over a grand. Not sure what BTS would sell it to you for, could be less. I got their valve body, after the t/q. Since you only have 600 to spend, it doesnt sound like thats much of an option, i think the valve body is in the 200 range. So over 1200 plus shipping. (t/q + VB)

DRW and tow fast parts.......
