A Dumb Question

why cant we with our 7.3L engines just put a breather cap on the valve cover instead of a reroute etc.etc why not put on a k and n type breather cap?

because I would be willing to bet it would ooooz oil, and be quite smelly.

Yep.I left my hose off once and there was oil ooze down the valve cover and over the manifolds.The burning oil smell on hot metal got my attention and realized it had not been hooked back up.

i see the cummins guys are running them and i was wondering why cant we run one instead of all this rerouting and catch cans etc. etc.

i dont know that there's any reason you can't. like i said, buddy runs one on his truck, you might be able to see it in the pic of the towing twins on the bwd site

I think you should ask 69W he will know. I think there is just to much flow from that vent.
