Aftermarket fuel filter system

I am looking for a fuel filter system that either replaces my factory system or one that piggy backs with the spin on canister type filter do they make one out there for my 2000 F-450 7.3L or do I have to just add an inline for a secondary. I am a hotshot ltl trucker and injector #1 was almost completly plugged and took out the cylinder on a 90,000 mile motor. I am still dumb founded at this experience and thought a better filter system could help out in the future. I am just looking for advise. This down time is gonna kill my business if it happens again.

Re: Aftermarket fuel filter system

go with pre fass system works great and you keep your stock filter in place.

Re: Aftermarket fuel filter system

Thanks guys. I am just sick over this whole ordeal. Now by adding a second filter will it lower my fuel psi? Do i need to go with a better pump?

Re: Aftermarket fuel filter system

The Fass unit is a Fuel pump and a water/fuel separator you will be able to maintain plenty of fuel PSI with it

the air dog is a pusher pump/filter supplying about 8 psi iirc.

Re: Aftermarket fuel filter system

Also I was looking for a number to ITP so I could chat with them about what I do with the truck. Does anyone have this number. I may just have to call DI and get it over with. I hope to be back on the road by the end of the week. I saw the system which includes the pomp. I just dont have time for any fine tuning. I have to know the system will work and work well imediatly after install. Ive already lost toooo much money being down this long.
