in a tool box works best since it keeps it out of the weather

Re: water tank mounting

I would like to mount it in the tool box but i need the space for my tools. If I bought one of those cargo racks and moved the spare tire of the tool box I would have plenty of room to put it there

but if its possible to mount it on the frame and stay safe then that would be easier for me

Re: water tank mounting

I was thinking about that. maybe I could put together something like a little bit of piping coming out to top and then going to side with a check valve that would connect to the hose

Re: water tank mounting

There should be enough room behind the fuel fill door for a garden hose style attachment to fill you frame mounted tank. You could make a tank out of some bigger diameter PVC pipe with caps on each end. Just some thoughts, IDK if any of it would work.

Re: water tank mounting

Problem is filling the tank... it has a twist on cap just like a gas tank. Mine is going in the tool box.

One thing to remember is the pump should be installed below the tank...
