Towing ???

Nozzle Size Recommendations: This is the specs for B-code 530's would this still apply to my hybrids.

.0070" - Daily Driver / Towing
.0075" - HOT Daily Driver / Light Towing
.0080" - .0085" - Racing / Pulling / Significant Turbo Upgrades

My Stage 3 Hybrids have .007 nozzles and wanted to know what would be considered light towing. The heaviest thing i tow is 5500 to 6k. I am thinking about opening them up to .0075. What differences will i see, mpg loss, higher egt's, how much hp gain, etc. I have a dodge talking some trash and i need to put him in his place.

Re: Towing ???

CSIPSD is going to be putting some .010 nozzels on his Hybrids.... and I know he tows quite abit.... and he has the same turbo...

I think you could easily go to .008's and be fine.... that isnt much weight that your towing!

Good deal. Just thought I remembered him saying he was getting the smaller nozzles. Should put his set up in the 500+ range fairly easy

Re: Towing ???

I run .0065" B codes and they tow awesome. With my truck loaded to a little over 20K gross I can hold 60mph on a 6% grade with the EGT's holding 1100-1150* all the way. I love my set up. The nozzles are probably a little small according to some but I like to keep things safe since I do tow a lot.

Re: Towing ???

How big can i go and stay with my current turbo or will i need a bigger turbo or maybe just another one. I am just kicking around a few ideas before i give Kevin and Brian a call, cant let that dodge beat me ya know.

Re: Towing ???

BWD tested the TN BB with hybrids and made 433hp, IIRC.
