Intake Tube

Just installed my TN BB turbo, and would like to clean up the intake a bit. I'm running a stage 2 AFE, a ccv delete pipe, and the intake tube for the turbonetics. Does anybody have a metal tube that would work from the afe to the turbo? Dennis sells one for the H2E, but it won't work for drop-in turbo's. Kainers suggested an intake pipe from a cummins, and I looked at that option, but would like to get an intercooler type pipe with the appropriate rubber...

Thanks,

Nate

Talking Re: Intake Tube

You want to run one pipe from the AFE to the turbo instead of two with a peice of 4" pipe between them ?

Re: Intake Tube

Correct, I would like to run this set-up, but one that fits a drop-in turbo...

Re: Intake Tube

I've been wanting to do the same thing for a while now... Might have to put some parts together to do it! Would not be hard to moddify the ITP one to work on a drop in... two cuts and weld it up... but it would not look near as pretty as it does now.

Re: Intake Tube

I was thinking you could take a 4" intercooler pipe and bend it correctly, add rubber, and be done... I could be way off though...

Looked at my set-up today, and there isn't a great deal of bend involved. I'm not sure if you could use a mandrel bender or not. I've thought about mocking something up, and having a muffler shop bend the pipe...

Re: Intake Tube

All the local muffler shops will not be able to bend anything bigger then 3.5" and I doubt any of them have a mandrel bender... There is a place in Bend Or that had a mandrel to 5"...
