Re: [email protected] pressure

Mike, have you ever tried higher pressure and notice any kind of difference??
I have mine set about 68-70, is it possible to have to much fuel pressure with these injectors?

Re: [email protected] pressure

The injectors don't really care, as far as A-codes, B-codes, Hybrids and so on. But, the heads/fuel system does.

On my truck with the factory lines still feeding the heads I found that the truck responds better and smokes less at 60lbs than at 68. I believe the fuel pressure was way high pre-head and falling into a serious low pressure zone (compared to the higher pressure ahead of the head) in the fuel rail in the head causing serious aeration issues.

Pump sounds 200% happier and the truck runs cleaner and crisper. VERY noticably cleaner and crisper.

I run 60 with the stock lines.

Just two cents worth.

Re: [email protected] pressure

64psi here. I have not tried to mess with the fuel pressure yet.

I have been too busy trying to adjust the wastegate to control some boost. This thing makes so much power with B codes that I have yet to floor it. My wife says I am chicken I think she may be on to something.

Re: [email protected] pressure

Why not 200? Why not apply the same 3800psi ICP logic to the fuel pressure....
