Re: Tranny

You need to pull the codes that were set by the lights. Then we can help you.

Re: Tranny

Your stock trans is living on borrowed time, it wasn't made for the extra HP you are now pushing through it. Get ready its gonna blow one of these days if ya keep hammering on it.

Re: Tranny

I wonder if the OD light was flashing because of TC slippage,
seems like sp diesels exhaust brake can cause the od light to flash on some trucks when the tc lock is engaged.

do you have a diy tc lock ?

yes that is purely just my wild guess, but a slightly educated guess.
the od light flashed for a reason, and it ain't no boost code.
if it did throw its own code it could have been a temporary code that disappeared.

also another thing you may want (besides a boost fooler)
is to look into a woods 6.4 TC kit, may be enough, with mini me's and a garret your at the high end of its limit i would think though,
they seems the perfect choice for pmr trucks.

Re: Tranny

yup from what i understand that OD light flashes when your demanding shifts out of the tranny and it cant do it, depending on the year the valve body has a shift solonoid that does this, my light would do that when i would hammer on it, but beware its gonna blow!!! mine did this for about a month then one day it wouldnt move anymore....now its totally suncoast and i cant believe the diff.. good luck.
