Finally decided to try the dual pumps with the stock injectors. Ive been towing a fair amt lately and the constant ses
light (1211) up every big hill got old. It didnt matter what setting the chip was in, there was always a light. The chip is tuned for big b codes and dual hpop
so that is alot of the problem. i didnt want to get a reburn if the big injectors are going back in soon. Anyway before the pumps id see 25 psi
of boost in the tow setting with 1300* egt's, very little smoke and all round good drive ability. Without changing anything but adding the pumps- peak boost went up to about 29psi and egt's DROPPED
to 1150* MAX
w/o water injection. Ive done several 0-100+ mph runs, the egt's have never broke 1150. BTW
there is more smoke through out the rpm range now, where as before there was very little. Oh and the single pump that was on the engine before was a ~6 month old 17* pump. Should be a towing rig now
. Im going on a trip this weekend so i'll be able to see if it changes the mileage any.
Mods are as follows: 66mm/19cm modded h2e turbo, fuel system, DIIC, TW tuning, Stealth pumps.
