Exclamation Harmonic balance removal help quick

What is the best way to take it off? What thread, left or right. Need to remove it to install the Melling LPOP and Fluid Dampner.

Thanks
Greg

Re: Harmonic balance removal help quick

There's a bolt in the center of it. That doesn't come out first?

The bolt is 15/16" and yes, remove it first. Then use a puller to slide the old one off. I found a bolt that was longer then the original and used it to push the new dampner on.

The bolt would loosen opposite of the engine rotation.

So its a right hand thread, or normal? I'll have to try it with an impact. I couldn't get it loose and said the heck with it. Beer time.
