Injectors and PMR's

I am planning on upgrading my injectors on my 01 automatic soon. I am also puting a gt38r with 1.15 and ebpv delete. Probably an upgraded intercooler also. I want some good power but I also want to be able to run it hard without serious threat of major problems (PMR's). I am looking at either AC codes or swamps 175/146 singleshots.

What are your opinions?

Thanks,
Ted

Re: Injectors and PMR's

To be honest, you would probably be fine, if you were civil about it, and didn't drive like you stole it. injectors are a big risk with PMRs, however if you are careful and you have a decent amount of luck it should be a good daily driver truck. I wouldn't load it down to the max or pull a heavy trailer with it. Who ever the tuner is, let them know you have the PMRs, they should adjust tuning to make power higher in the RPM band which is actually easier on the connecting rods than it is chugging out gobs of torque down low where the cylinder pressures get very high.

Re: Injectors and PMR's

With those injectors you should do alright. It is a risk w/ PMR's though. Have you verified if you have PMR's?

No I am not for sure but since I have an 01 (built in summer of 01) I am assumming I have PMR's. I would like to check some time but can't find the pictures that DI used to have showing the differences.
