Big Terry's Engine Shop

Big terry's engine shop in simi valley. Has anyone else had any machine work done by them? They have had my heads for 2 months. First excuse was they didn't machine the fire rings deep enough. Which would lead me to believe they don't double check the machine program before they use it. Now they broke a "tool" and don't know when the heads will be done. The thing that bugs me is they charge my credit card over a month and a half ago and I had the fire rings and new springs paid for and sent to them. They came recomended. I'm just curious if anyone else has had work done by them. Also does anyone know of a good manual tranny shop in Cali preferable northern cali.

For the trans, give Brad at RPM a call. He can probably point you in the right direction. They are in Rohnert Park. I am guessing you are in the 707 are code.

Re: Big Terry's Engine Shop

Na Kevin at BWD droped shiped my parts outa Cali and Utah back around christmas/first of the year. So Unless UPS droped the ball I don't think they were waiting on me. They have been saying for a month "they just got my parts". So I don't know I think its bad business to charge for labor before the work is done I mean I paid for all the parts and shipping upfront.

I have dealt with Rocco as well (at Mike's referral) . Even when he didnt pick up, he always called right back. He took good care of me.
