Re: IDM mod preferences

Where's the choice for non clumsy box that connects externally allowing you to revert to stock quickly?

Re: IDM mod preferences

If it allows me to turn 5,000 rpm. it could be a 2ft square box that mounts on top of the hood and I would still run it
but I would like something small external of the IDM that could be unpluged and run with out it

Re: IDM mod preferences

Option #3 can be activated many ways. example 1. Driver interaction with the Throttle peddle. as in hold rpm for set time or tap from idle set # of times. Without it being activated it would be no different than a stock one would be.

Re: IDM mod preferences

I like the clean, non-cluttered look, and besides the idm is easy enought to change on our obs's anyway, if something ever does happen that you dont want increased pulse width

Re: IDM mod preferences

Box between PCM and IDM is just fine. Easier to debug when problems arise. Leave my IDM alone except resistor mod!!

Re: IDM mod preferences

Maybe you could mount it to the IDM on the outside, one less thing to mount underhood. And like Travis said, hide it in the fender so snoops can't see it.

Oh and make it so I don't have to hack my harness all up, if your little box screws up I don't want it totally downing my truck!

Doesn't matter what it looks like as long as it works. I will find space and weight to make it fit.....
