What Kind of MODS Should I Do Next???

Well I am trying to figure out what to do with my deployment money when I get back from overseas in about 8 months or so. BTS and an H2e are first on my list but I am not sure what else to do. After those 2 mods I will have around 5 or 6 more Gs to spend. Not sure how well my motor will hold StageII's from bean. Help me out I want some opinions here. I wouldnt mind 400HP and then just building a motor on the side while im at 400 or so HP.

besides the turbo and trans, yea i would say injectors, big oil, and some sort of regulated return fuel system, ITP makes an awesome kit.

The only thing I am worried about after the turbo and trans is how much more can I do before my PMRs decide to leave there home and go bouncing around on the street.

oh ya, forgot about those. From what I understand "around" 400hp at the wheels is all they are good for. I think a good set of rods are around 2,500.Depending how much boost ya plan on running too ya may want to look at some headstuds as well? Once ya get into it this far its waaaay spendy. I wish I could play!!!

I am really only planning on 500HP MAX. That will be with a motor I build with hardend forged rods though. That will be built to run and not blow up under the kinds of abuse I put my truck through. I have heard StageII's can be run on PMRs with good tuning. I am just wondering about my head gaskets with that H2e on there with a set of stageII's cuz I should be cutting it pretty close with that.

Yea probably gonna need studs. Hopefully someone chimes in who runs a high HP engine. Strokin early 99 would be an excellent guy for you to talk to. PM him. His truck is at, or right around 500hp

I am running stage 3s with stock nozzles with no HG issues but you will definitely need rods if you want to go over 400 hp and you mine as well put in studs while the motor is apart.

I would build up the engine first then go get all the go fast mods. Also your transmission is not going to last long with bigger injectors

Re: What Kind of MODS Should I Do Next???

I got that covered I am putting in a BTS first thing when I get back along with an H2E. What does it cost to put together a motor that will hold 500 HP if I was to do all the work myself vs. having it built somehwere?

Re: What Kind of MODS Should I Do Next???

rods $2500
head studs $750
fire rings $500 + machining
valve springs $785
push rods $250

total = $4,785 + machining for fire rings

I dont know the costs on labor I am sure someone could chime in. John Wood is probably the closest to you.
