Thinking about a 42R

Well as the title thinking about a Garrett 42. So here is my question. What injectors should I go with with? Thinking either Large stage 2's 225-230's or 238 Hybrids. With the stage 2's will they atomize better than Hybrids or not? What about oil. What should I go with for that?

Nick, is this going in the excursion?

I would go with hybrids... no need for oil

Re: Thinking about a 42R

I would say at least a 238cc hybrid too. While there may not be a need for oil, without a doubt it helps!

Re: Thinking about a 42R

Have you checked for PMR's?
Unless you want more than 450HP get stage 2's, I'd get a modded H2e. 17* pump is all thats needed or their always modded 17* pumps or better yet a Stealth.

We only carry the BEST parts and never compromise just to get a sale.

Dealer for: Full Force, Tymar, BTS, Icon, Pure Performance, TW tunes, just to name a few.

Hybrids are it man. If you have the coin, the ability to use them all the way out without throwing a code was just amazing to me. Of coarse the smaller plungers will have an atomization advantage because the ratio to piston size is more desirable. But I have read that there are guys getting over 20 mpg on hybrids, that's more than enough for me. It is all in the toons brother....

If he is going to go with that big of a charger I would assume he is shooting for over 500. Otherwise why not pay a few hundred less, not have to worry about the piping and go with a gt38r.
