b codes with small oil

does anyone have any first hand experience running b code injectors with small oil i.e. an adrenaline pump? i have a customer that just picked up a set of 350/200 b-codes that he is convinced will run with an adrenaline pump. i dont have any experience with b codes, just hybrids. as far as i am aware, an adrenaline starts struggeling after about a 250/100 hybrid.

thanks,
barry

Re: b codes with small oil

Adrenaline wont keep up with those at all. Even Bob states NO B CODES on his site.

That being said.. will it run? Sure. It will be smokey as hell and you won't be able to keep ICP up. He can try it, but all he will be doing is basically short stroking the injectors due to low volume (and low ICP as a result) of oil.

EDIT: I think there are a few different adrenaline pumps feed different 250cc hybrid configurations (80\100\200 nozzles).

Porch Monkey. It's cool, I'm taking it back.

Re: b codes with small oil

I had around an 80% nozzle on some B-codes a while back w/ a single stock 15 degree pump and it would drop the HPO pretty good.

If he is asking for any kind of pw it's simply not going to be enough.

I wouldn't worry about it because some people you just can't tell a thing. He'll figure it out eventually.

I am running some 300/200 hybrids with an adrenaline pump and it will hold 2600 psi on a wot run.

Give Bob a call, IIRC, he is running a set of B-codes and an ADR in one of his personal trucks right now, and he would most likely be the one with any info anyways.

Dave

I believe that they are smaller B codes..

The 350/200's will need big oil.

Re: b codes with small oil

It's really about the injection ratio and the size of the nozzles. Hybrids and/ or smaller nozzles will require a lot less HPO.

B codes w/ 200%ers are going to require lots of oil.
