I run hybrids (basically mini me's) and I don't need big oil. I want it but I don't need it. I haven't thrown a CEL yet.

Re: Pulse vs. Stealth

First ask "what am I wanting to do with this truck"!! Hybrids and stock HPOP will get you over 500hp, and that is a big-time powerful truck. If you want to race and don't mind blowing stuff up like transmissions, differentials, and engine blocks then go for it.

Im thinking you should probably compare the stealth stage 1 pump with a pulse and even then im fairly certain that the stealth will out flow the pulse. Stage 2 stealth out flows 2 stock pumps there is NO way a pulse pump can hang with that.

Re: Pulse vs. Stealth

The Pulse uses the stock hpop housing with upgraded internals to flow more than stock and the Stealth uses a newly designed hpop housing with all new internals inside for better than stock flow. So the stealth is going to cost more because for the design and manufacture of the housing and internals.
That is how I see the cost difference of the two units. End result is better than stock oil pressure from both units.

Re: Pulse vs. Stealth

i am worried about my hybrids falling on their face with stock oil.. I put a computer on my truck with no chip on it once i got my new motor in and it kept solid around 2900 psi when floored.. I am not sure if that will hold upto hybrids.. or will it?
