Pyrometer probe in DI Headers

I need some advice on installing the pyrometer probe in a set of DI headers. I just got the headers but need to know where the probe should go.

Thanks.

Send them to me and I will put a bung in there for ya...........

Might be a long wait getting them back though cause I would have to leak check it for at least one year on mine!

Yep....all of the BAE headers should have a bung welded into the rear on the drivers side.

Re: Pyrometer probe in DI Headers

I have the coated ones, I needed an adapeter to neck the bung down to the size of the compression fitting for the probe.

04-250. ECSB - In the shop...7.3 swap.

Hmmm... both of mine had bungs - it made it nice to run an EGT probe in one and check back pressure with the other.
