guys runnin s400 turbos.....

so i am thinking bout going with 400/400 inj and a s476/88 turbo. I am wondering what size exh housing you guys are running with your similar setups? I am willing to sacrifice some streetability for performance at the sled track.

I believe i understand how the housing work....... The larger the housing the slower the turbo will light but the more air you will be able to move in the high rpms, and the reverse for the smaller housings. Just wondering what experiences you guys have had and your recommendations.

That still wont be enough turbo for those injectors. Pry want to look at the 80/88! Especially if you're willing to sacrifice a little street-ability.

Exactly what I have now. It wont clean up 400/400. I have 340/200 and its not enough. It does work pretty good on the street, little laggy, but I can live with it. Talk to Brian (powersmoker) first. He has a 80/88.

Awesome performer on the track, not real sure I'd go bigger, unless its track only. This is about my limit and still be able to ride around town. I still tow pretty heavy with it, in a VERY detuned setting. Works alot better than I thought it would towing. I cant say I recomend it for that at all, but it is possible. Add some spray and its an animal.
Better have some good stuff underneath it to stay together!

swampses tunes.

I have one tow tune, several good hot tunes, and a couple of really hot tunes for racing/ pulling. Some of the newest stuff is what I have now. My truck seems to like them the best.

Mine didn't tow to bad. Towed a dump truck was about 28k going across the scales. Didn't seem to do to bad just kept it in drive so the R's stayed up.

Will ANY turbo(s) setup clean 400/400's?

I think heavy towing with a big charger would be a little more friendly, this way you can stay on top of the charger.
