Good Injectors

One of my stock injectors went bad in my truck this week so I am looking to just replace all of them with some bigger ones. Probably stage 2's. I would like to spend less than $1500 since I am still in college and am on a budget. Would I need to upgrade my HPOP to handle stage 2's? I have a FASS, 4" exhaust, Intake, and custom tunes from PHP.

Re: Good Injectors

No your 17* HPOP is fine if in good condition, but you will need a chip with custom tunes. You should also get rid of the K&N.

Stage 2's...your turbo and trans won't last long!

We only carry the BEST parts and never compromise just to get a sale.

Dealer for: Full Force, Tymar, BTS, Icon, Pure Performance, TW tunes, just to name a few.

Contact Nate at Unlimited Diesel. He can set you up with some nice stage II's for the price you are looking for.

Re: Good Injectors

I did get rid of the K&N and my truck is a standard with a single disc ceramic clutch so it should hold up. I am also looking at upgrading my turbo but probably not till fall. Custom tunes are already taken care of via PHP. Will my fuel system be ok. I am running a FASS 150 into the stock lift pump. I dont have the money for a RR right now but I am thinking about making a custom fuel bowl delete and getting a bigger lift pump. I know some guys run walbro pumps but what model are they?

Re: Good Injectors

I run the Walbro GSL 329 on my truck and i built my fuel system other than the RR. You should be fine on the stock fuel system for a little while with stage II's

Re: Good Injectors

I ran a stock fuel system and I never had a problem with mine. I know some people that have run a stock fuel system for some serious miles and they are still ok.

Re: Good Injectors

Many of the vendors on here can set you up with that size injector for about that price, I got mine from Bean's for about that and I'm from state college (well bellefonte)
