Blown Head Gasket used meth/water

well dad put snows mpg water meth kit on his truck with stock injectors an turbo an blew a head gasket today. he had the smallest nossle opening at 5 psi for mpg. an the other 2 nossles opening at 15 psi for power. an at a 133k on the clock. and 44 psi of boost the passanger head gasket quit an i had the rescue him with the 370k motored 7.3. i think the boost pressure was the main cause but the straight meth didnt help matters any sponsors that feel like lending a hand with rounding up parts to put it back together. pm me with some prices and advice on what it needs to be put back together with would help. it would be greatly appreciated.looks like ive got alot of work to be doing at no $ an hour

Re: blown head gastket

He did know the stock head bolts usually let go around 40# of boost on aftermarket turbo's right?

I wonder if anybody's ever measured backpressure at 44 pounds of boost on a stock turbo. Bet it's pretty ugly lol. Not surprised to hear things went south.

Re: blown head gastket

Find out which cylinder blew the gasket, and make sure you replace that connecting rod. Or, you'll scatter the seemingly fine engine in a few months.
