97 Oil pan

Just rebuilding my longblock, its a 97 block going in an 02 Superduty. Is the oil pan the same ?

Any other parts that don't interchange ? (I'm using the heads, HPOP and front cover and accesories off the 02 motor that I scattered.)

I would think so. I will be doing the same thing hopefully this summer.

Let me know how things go for you?

yes the only oil pans that are different are the 94 and 95. Don't ask me how I know.

Re: 97 Oil pan

The only difference should be which slot the plug on the side of the oil pan goes on. There should be two different degree setting for the dipstick.
