Mini Me's are in!

Spent a few hours in the driveway today putting the new mini me's in. Got it all done and fired it up. Those really aren't tough to do, definately a job you can do on your own.

Now it's time to go wail on it for a bit and get all that air worked out of the system. More info to come....

Re: Mini Me's are in!

My check engine light is on now though, can't really figure out why. The diagnostic tool won't pick up any codes? How could the check engine light be on but have no codes?

I unhooked the batteries to maybe reset it, but the lights still kicks on. I might have to talke it to the stealership in the morning and see if they can track it down with their diagnostic tools.

Hopefully the idm isn't fried or something...

Re: Mini Me's are in!

Found the problem, #7 injector (rear passenger) must've come unplugged when I was slipping the valve cover back in there.

I'm just gonna go put it back together now...

Re: Mini Me's are in!

Any reason why you didn't go with B codes? Money reasons, or a deal you couldn't pass up, or ?

Re: Mini Me's are in!

excuse my ignorance here, i've been wondering, how do they compare to true 530 B codes? Smaller or larger CC flow, and they're hybrids right?
