ICP Pressure Test - Crank No Start
So a week ago my e350 7.3 decided to stop running just after I left my house. Managed to push it back home but now I'm having a hard time getting my hands in there and figuring out whats up because its a damn van!
What I have narrowed it down to is the HPOP
is likely leaking.
I am in the middle of trying to figure out from where and to confirm that what I've been doing is in fact correct.
I've connected my compressor ~110 psi
to my ICP
port and can hear air leaking. With the key off it sounds like its going right into the crankcase and air is pushed out the breather and fill neck. When I turn the key on the leak continues but slowly and I can't tell from where. I assume this is the IPR
valve closing and cutting off the path. There is a slight bubbling sound but not sure what from.
I would just pull it all out and reseal it but I'd like to confirm where its leaking so I don't put it all back in and find that wasn't the problem.
Am I on the right track? Does anyone have any suggestions of where specifically this leak is coming from?
