6.0 Trans cooler for 7.3

Hi guys, after tons of reading on the forum and lots of high trans temps, I did the 6.0 trans cooler swap. It took some extra parts that didn’t come with the kit(tube fittings), but WOW!!! I was seeing trans temps upward 220+ prior to the swap and now when I’m climbing with load w/ OD off I can’t get the thing to break 200 let alone 190. Around town not even seeing temps reach 150. I highly recommend you look into it if you tow with your old 7.3 pig. Thanks for the help.

I'm loving dieselsites external spin on filter, it works awesome!

Good to hear man, mine sat in my garage for about 6 months, stop waiting you won’t regret it!!! Next on my list is the sinister diesel inline filter for coolant, I talked to a CAT diesel mechanic who said they cast our blocks in sandstone and after the you install you’ll have to change your filter within a short interval and it will be full of sand.
