Cold air intakes?

Hey everyone I have a 01 that currently has the Donaldson AIS kit in it currently. I just recently bought a Hydra chip from Corey. I was looking at the S&B cold air intake system. My question is my current AIS kit just as good as the S&B cold air intake? My truck is completely stock minus the Hydra I just recently purchased and I'm only going to be using it on the 45-65hp tow tunes, no hot rodding. Will the S&B keep egt's lower than the AIS? Thanks guys 👍🇺🇸👍

The S&B will flow more and the AIS will filter better. The AIS is just fine for a truck with only a chip.

Re: Cold air intakes?

Need to cut out that restrictive muffler too. Add a Walker big truck muffler to quiet it back down.

With the intake, exhaust muffler swap and a chip it will do fine.

Re: Cold air intakes?

I bought the S&B, I like it for a few reasons.

I recently went through the turbo, everything was pretty clean inside.

It pays to be a winner.
