Tuner for towing?

Truck is stock right now with the exception of a trans cooler and riffraff 6637 coming up. This trucks sole purpose in life is to pull my 25' travel trailer right now and a goosenecked 5er maybe later in the year or next year. So looking for a suggestion for a tuner for pulling the camper and when empty (good mpg).

2000 F350 dually 2wd (ex ambulance chassis, so 4.10 gears)

O man thatís loud at 2000rpm with them4.10! 55-58 is your sweet spot lol!

Go with php hydra and a tow tune. Get them from @[email protected], Clay st riffraff, or straight from powerhungryperformance.

I pull anything under 30k with my dually. I got 373 though.

Re: Tuner for towing?

Loud at 2k rpm? Do what? That's like going 45 mph. Lol
I'm just around 3k at 70 mph with 4.10 and stock tires.
I'll still recommend the hydra.

Yeh, I wish it didnt have 4.10's in it and its loud all the time right now since when they took the paramedic box off of it they just ran a piece of 4" flex pipe at just behind the door and 90'ed it to the side of the truck :)

TY for the suggestion on a tuner.

Re: Tuner for towing?

Make sure to get some gauges including EGT, boost, trans temp and possibly fuel pressure if that becomes an issue. Make look into the hydra/cts2 package that PHP sells.
