truck turns off

yes im having a huge problem with my truck it seems every time I put in reverse it just shuts off iv replaced the torque converter and vb because the trans shop I took it to said that it was prob the problem. Still didn't fix it and know im out of ideas so if yall have any input on it id really appreciate it.

Sounds like the front pump on the tranny. I seem to remember reading service bulletin about it. You have checked ruled out most the other common causes unless the PCM is throwing codes to show something different. When its the Tq converter IIRC its becasue its trying to lock up and stalling.

low fluid, missing filter or. lose, a worn/weak pump, worn torque converter seals, or last and least likely bad torque converter.

It sounds like you may be having to take it to a shop and have those things checked out. Its not too uncommon of an issue. Basically low pressure or bad converter. You could pick up a pressure gauge and see what you get.

Not sure if these are for E4OD or 4r100 or if they are both the same pressures
