Lightbulb what is a resistor

hey i herd of some one putting a 10k resister in there icp what does that do if any thing and does it tear any thing up

The resistor will make it so the pcm sees a different value from the ICP sensor. Not really sure whether or not it alright, or bad for the engine.

I have a 2.2k wired to a switch in mine. Makes for a mean lope and good bit of smoke. Sounds horrible on the engine but i havent had any problems related to it
