Injectors????

So I went to the place that putt injectors in to find out WTF, he says they are split shots with 27.5lpm nozzles also says they are 80 hp injectors, he says some one else does the
nozzles from back east he just puts them on the injectors, with this info what can be determined about these injectors. The truck runs awesome better than stock but it needs a tuner so I need to know what 27.5 lpm means to me.

Re: Injectors????

it means you have bone stock AD injectors with a healthy nozzle on them...

your stock injectors probably took about 3.5ms to 'empty' the full 145cc's...

the same "injector" with a larger nozzle...might empty in 2.5, or even 2.0ms...which is what you have now. more smoke, not so much more hp.

they are still 145cc's...

Re: Injectors????

What "%" approximately would that be? And dadozer, I think you'll be happy with the injectors if you can get some good tuning and maybe a better HPOP. I'd say you'd be good for 350 rwhp, but I'm no expert.

Re: Injectors????

Just tell the tuner the LPM.

He should be able to tune by that as easily as %.

Re: Injectors????

you wouldn't need a HPOP if you had single shot instead of splits and would make more power too.

Re: Injectors????

It's to little too late on the injectors though they are already bought, paid, and installed so I need to do what ever I can with the splits
