Fuel bowl inlet size?

I need the size and thread pitch of the fuel inlet port of the fuel bowl. if you have one laying around, could you measure it for me? I need to buy a fitting so I can run a 3/8" or 1/2" fuel line from the fuelab to the bowl.

Thanks, Clayton.

How's the fuel bowl doing in combination with your 238's?

1/4" NPT, and the outlets on the fuel bowl are 1/8" NPT.

The fuel bowl should support the 238's without issue considering Cale still has the stock fuel bowl sitting atop his BTS oil pump

Plus, I ran 13.30-13.40's on fuel with a stock fuel bowl

Well, whole fuel system is torn apart right now. My stock superduty pump quit 1 day after the 238's went in. Then I threw on a Walbro to get me by. That lasted 1 day and it craped out. So now its getting a 5/8" pick-up, fuelab pump, 10ga pump wiring, and bigger fuel line from the pump to the bowl.

After I get moved into my house and get my tools moved over where I can tinker on it in the evenings, ill fab up a regulated return and a couple filter bases.

Re: Fuel bowl inlet size?

Sounds like a good plan. I know whenever I get around to doing a fuel system I'll probably be doing it from scratch also, as well as ditching the fuel bowl. I like the idea, and reassurance of a pre and post fuel filter better anyway.

Re: Fuel bowl inlet size?

Could you not put a pre pump filter in, use the factory filter and bowl for a post pump filter, bore out the factory regulator so it is just a fitting. Install a good regulator on it.

I like the idea of a stock appearing motor. Seems like it should work well, maybe I am wrong though.

Snow White ran low 11's at 128.98 on a stock fuel bowl.

That's what ill be running, a 12 micron pre pump filter/base, with the stock bowl as the post pump filter. DI booster regulator for now. Upgraded lines and regulator will go in soon.
