Have a few question on setting up the Scan Gauge.

I just received my new Scan Gauge from Joey today, and plan on installing it in a column pod mount tomorrow.

I spent about a hour getting familiar with it and I think I have it down pretty good. But I still need a few questions answered.

During the set up there is a PLATFORM 1 and a PLATFORM 2 to choose from.

Do I use both Platforms to get the parameters I want ?

What Parameters are most of you monitoring ?

I plan on having it on the Cyclic Scan most of the time.

Any other tips would be appreciated. Thank you - Mark

I use Platform 2. I have an EGT and Boost gauge so I monitor my Trans Temp with it and will also cycle ICP, ICP DC and Exhaust Back Pressure. I haven't had mine too long so I've just been messing around with it.

I can't remember which platform I use. I thought it was 2 but can't remember. I like the fact that I can use it as a shift light.

Can't remember which platform. But one does duty cycle and icp and I thought the other did not. You can only use one of them, so one will seem more appropriate.
I leave mine on AIT to monitor outside temps and fuel pressure. I have the warning lights set to battery voltage less than 11.5. So, I watch fuel pressure, AIT, oil temp, batt volt, icp, and duty cycle. I think it is a great little gauge.

I also use platform 2. I need to get Todd to combine both platforms. For some reason the dual gauges are set up that way on one of the two gauges.

Re: Have a few question on setting up the Scan Gauge.

Haven't figured out the P1 P2 thing yet, but it seems to work on either one.

I have my lights set up so they go out when EOT is over 160, Trans is up to temp, etc...

Pretty BA little gauge.
