Superchips Gold Chip

I've got one kickin around in my glove box that the guy threw in when i bought it. Ive never used it and have no intention to. question is, is it worth anything? should i try to sell it or chuck it? i heard somewhere that it might have to be re-flashed or something to work on another truck, is this true?

also, can anyone tell me anything about it? are they 25hp? 40?

thanks

Re: Superchips Gold Chip

Most of those were 60hp or 80hp chips. You'd have to have it reflashed for a specific pcm code.

It can hold one calibration; it is PROBABLY a 75hp chip.

He can still reflash them, too.

sweet thank you. i have a PHP chip in my truck already i was just wondering if i would be able to sell this one or not.

what do you usually charge to reflash a chip to a new pcm code?

also, would it be for 7.3L powerstrokes only or can it be reflashed for newer ones also?
