What to do with extra plugs?????

Just wondering what you guys are doing with the plugs and wires for some of the stuff that gets removed when upgrading fuel and turbo's. like fuel heater, wastegate controls, ebpv control and such. You guys just leavin them hang or is it safe to acutally remove them from the wire harness?

I tape mine up. You never know, you may sell your truck some day, and there's gonna be a guy wondering who the hell cut out his AIH and EBPV wires.

Re: What to do with extra plugs?????

I'm going to tape mine out of the way, cheaper than buying a new harness down the road.

I say that now, but the more I think about it, I'm going to have a lot of stuff disconnected.

Re: What to do with extra plugs?????

ya the only way i see myself getting rid of this truck is if it goes to the junk yard. And even then if it hasn't killed me i will prob strip it down and reuse what i can on the next one. guess when i install everything i will strip the harness down and remove the "unneeded wires" Thanks guys

Re: What to do with extra plugs?????

You could just unpin them from the 42 pin connector and leave them intact should you ever sell the truck down the road.
