Re: RWHP Guess...

stock tranny? I would give it 350 maybe a little more if the tranny holds and the turbo does not grenade.

Re: RWHP Guess...

Built tranny, auto. Sorry.

I'm thinking 300 right now because it has 38" tires on it.

Turbo only has to put up with 1 good pull :)

My guess is it will make it to 35psi, and 2 or 3 WOT passes before the turbo grenades. There is a guy on here right now that cant get a stock OBS turbo to last with stage 1 injectors.
250cc/200% needs a modded H2E or a GT42R or something of the sort. A 38R will barely keep up with an 80% nozzle. Just dont go breaking sh!t and then try to blame it on your tuner....

Re: RWHP Guess...

You need a bigger charger to make any kinda power. I ran a dyno run with my 238cc 80% hybrids and matts tunes with a stock charger and no fuel system and made 350HP. Added a good turbo and fuel system and then hit 520HP... Its all about having the supporting mods.

Guys... believe me, I know I need a charger. This "bet" may make that a reality. If I can prove that an injector upgrade on a stock turbo truck will make power (with tunes of course), like 350, then I may have some funding for big oil and a turbo to show those same guys what these motors are capable of. I'm hoping with an S400 and an Adrenaline, I can make about 500 or so at the tires, 550 would be nice and would really solidify my claims.

They were trying to tell me how I wasted money on head studs... arguing the concept of more boost not making more compression (or more air in the cylinder)... requiring more clamping force, something the stock bolts can't supply. The scary part is that the guy helping me rebuild my motor also doubts it. He is good at fixing/repairing, not making fast, I'll give him that.

They were also telling me about some dyno @ CAT which loads the truck down till it just about stalls on the rollers... I guess it works the opposite of all of the other dynos I've seen.
