Looking for a 7.3 Intake Manifold (Aftermarket)

I found this one by AFE that seems pretty well priced to the one you see that are 400-425 price range by cfm+.

aFe Intake Manifold 00-03 Ford Excursion 7.3L Diesel : eBay Motors (item 140377400192 end time Feb-23-10 14:29:41 PST)

What do you think about this setup? Anyone here use this?
What other intake manifolds do you use and what do you like.
I want the run down of best bang for buck parts.

personally id save that 400 bucks and set it aside for something a little more worth it, bb turbo, maybe some sticks, i dont think youll see much gain with those things,....

Re: Looking for a 7.3 Intake Manifold (Aftermarket)

i just picked up a stock one on ebay for 66 dollars, i plan on playin with it with a die grinder to free up some flow, then get it powder coated. but yeah if i was gonna spend 400 i'd get a ported housing or if you have a stock tranny maybe a bts valve body.

Thanks for the insight and advice those of you who posted. I was thinking the same thing about maybe just porting the stock one on my own and having it powder coated and put the money towards my bigger turbo fund.
