air filter

got a new Fleet guard air filter from a friend for free. model# AF4878
Question is, are they good filters and will it preform better?? Thanks

2000 F-350 4x4 DRW 200,000 miles DP tuner Stock, 40T, decel, 60T, 80T, 80eco, 120race, ported compressor housing, bellowed up-pipes, Terminator T-500, FPR Spring mod, AIH delete, autometer ford factory match boost, pyro, trans, HPX crossover tube, AFE Stage II CAI, 5in Straight pipe, JW valve body, Deep transmission Pan with magnet

i believe that is simalier to the 6637 filter from napa. i would add an a filter cover just for added protection. one of those pete's covers i believe. they are on guzzles's modifacation page. check them out!

and yes i have diy intake that works really well. the voolant system that was on the truck when i got it was not to my likeing.

Got the same just my opening for the pipe is like 6 in or maybe 7in got to check, any one make something that makes it to 4in??

You can find some scrape 4 inch pieces at a local muffler and exhaust shop, they might even tell you to keep it. Anybody you know getting a new exhaust system?? Sometimes there's a cutoff piece. I've heard of people using PVC pipe also from Lowes or HD.
