TS Burner Issues

I have an old DP tuner rotary style TS position chip with old DP tunes. I am trying to put new tunes on it with a TS burner. For some reason it won't work. Keep getting a "not a mult-position module" error? My computer is communicating with it since I can get it to beep at me... Is this old DP tuner style chip not burnable? Or am I doing something wrong?

Any idea's anyone?

Re: TS Burner Issues

I have been told that the dp tuners are in a differant format or have a code on them or somthing that wont let you burn them. I believe you can send them to ts and have them reformated

Re: TS Burner Issues

When I selected 1 position it would come back with some type of formatting error... hmmm... you may be right. So I can't reformat the chip with this burner... that sucks...

Re: TS Burner Issues

i think the dp tunes are locked with a code or somthing.

problly a diffrent format as well. im not ahure if ts can reformat them anymore (had problems with reformating a bd chip) but im shure there is someone that can.

Re: TS Burner Issues

your chip is locked you would need a new blank chip or a burner from dp

The chip needs reformatted. You can send it in and have this done.
