Guages???

I'm shopping around for a pillar mount that holds four gauges. And would like to know the four most important gauges needed for a 7.3 auto and how much a good set goes for.( including everything) In other words the best bang for the buck. Thanks

Re: Guages???

I would say the two most important would be trans temp. and EGT. Boost guage is good to have also, then maybe EOT guage.

Re: Guages???

I would say EGT, trans temp and boost then for the third one I would get a scan gauge.

Re: Guages???

Pyro, boost, trans (if auto) and a scangauge.
I have a 6spd and have pyro, boost, eot, trans, water, and a scangauge. I love the scangauge. I have fuel and air intake temp on the scanguage. AIT tells me roughly the outside air temp. But I can also scroll through to battery volts, and icp.

2002 f-350 PSD, 4x4, cc short bed, 6spd, ccv mod, airdog, AIS filter, isspro ev and scangauges, detroit TT, ITP boost annihalator, ITP RR, bellowed up-pipes, ats housing, turbomaster, 3.5 dp magnaflow, very happy with ultra smooth and linear PHP 50t, 80DD and "whisper" tunes.
