water/meth with new build

I'm putting together a different setup for my truck 275/226 swamps hybrids with a s465 turbo home built mount, diy fuel system, at min a adrenaline hpop, springs studs and pushrods.... I'm also looking at a coolingmist water meth injection is there such a thing as too much meth or is it all controlled by your boost levels? How do they work and how much is too much? Any help or ideas/tips are appreciated thanks

Re: water/meth with new build

if you run meth, keep the meth % down as much as possiable but then again it also depends what you are going for.

i have heard a lot of people say to run just h2o.

On the hunt for another truck....

Re: water/meth with new build

Does anyone know what a safe percentage is for a mild performance gain say maybe 65-75 horsepower gain at max or is that feasible with what I'm wanting to do which is for the most part help keep egts down

Re: water/meth with new build

40% is all I would run... I have tested up to 70% with stock injectors, not worth the damage...

Re: water/meth with new build

Does the volume(jet size) of meth/water you are injecting effect how you mix?

Re: water/meth with new build

What gains did u get with 40% and I'm after more of a safer side of things and keeping egts down but 40% would be max I would run

Re: water/meth with new build

I would stick to water only set to boost for perf. If you do run meth that I would strongly recommend live tuning.

Ever seen what happens when the sys screws up? Hydrolock is fatal. Happened to a guy I know.

That is why it pays not to go cheap. Pay the extra for the failsafes etc..
