Trans dipstick

Does anyone have a transmission dipstick tube and dipstick that they could measure how much the dipstick sticks out of the tube? I cut mine apart to make a new one and I lost my measurement. The stock one did not fit to my liking with the h2e setup and feeding fuel from the rear of the heads. Thanks to anyone who takes the time to find this out for me.

If you are sure that you tranny has the correct amount of oil then you can simply use that a make your marks. Sorry if I had one out I would be glad to measure it for you.

No, I not sure if it has the right amount in it. I thought about it, but I'd rather get an actual measurement.

Re: Trans dipstick

Thank you. I found another tube today. 8 5/8 is what I came up with. Hopefully it is right.

You should take your truck to a Jiffy Lube and ask them to check the tranny fluid. See how long it takes before they give up and come and ask you if you know where the dip stick is located. Better yet video the guy.
