Question is gutting the EBPV worth it

mine is constantly getting stuck closed so im toying with the idea of gutting it but is it worth it, or should i just fix it. i would like some pros and cons along with some opinions about it

Gut it then you dont have to worry about it getting stuck ever again.

Gut it, or for about 100 bucks you can buy a non ebpv pedistal and been totally done.

2002 f-350 PSD, 4x4, cc short bed, 6spd, ccv mod, airdog, AIS filter, isspro ev and scangauges, detroit TT, ITP boost annihalator, ITP RR, bellowed up-pipes, ats housing, turbomaster, 3.5 dp magnaflow, very happy with ultra smooth and linear PHP 50t, 80DD and "whisper" tunes.

my buddy just paid around 165 i believe to rebuild his cuz hes a dumbazz and thats with the discount he gets because his company does so much buisness with ford

Unplug it and wire it.

i would pull it off and replace with the non epvb. looks better, no chance of leaks out of the pluged hole. but if you dont want to spend any money yes just do the delete mod.

Newbie question here but is the ebpv why mine seems to lug a little like i just tugged tight on a load at funny times at low RPM and the pop right up with a little tap of throttle.
