HPO and Hybrids

Hey Guys,

I have 250cc 200% injectors in my 2000 F350. One of the reasons I went with the Hybrids over Stg II Singles is because of the lowered demand for HPO. I know there are a lot of people saying that more HPO is always a good thing, especially if all you have is a stock 17*.

So, my question is, if this is the last injector I ever buy what would be my best solution for HPO?

Modded 17*?
Adrenaline?
Overdrive?
Twin Terminators?
etc...

I'm not looking to buy anything I have to grow into, my HPO needs will not change in the future. I'm looking at a modded H2e for a turbo and would like to see 500rwhp, I wouldn't be upset with more, but I'm not looking to break records. This is my DD, it sees regular romps to 60, a couple passes down the track and not a lot of heavy towing.

Thanks,
Jack

I think you would be really happy with the Adrenaline.

Adrenaline hands down. Everyone that has tried it found improvement. Take a look at the tester thread.

You need more than the adrenaline for optimum performance with that nozzle. The overdrive with a 17* pump will work great for your application.

I do not know why but I swore I saw 100% not 200%. Would that still be better regardless?

Have you hooked your truck to AE?

Data logging will show you whether or not you actually need it.

Unless of course matt is sure you do, then i would listen to him over me.

Re: HPO and Hybrids

ICP loss does more for power loss with a larger nozzle than a small one. 2600 psi to 3000 psi is a big difference on a 200% nozzle compared to a 100% because of the atomization loss that goes with it. The 200% nozzle makes the hybrid injectors use more oil as well.

If you are looking for a low mile (3,000 or so) Adrenaline let me know. I sold my stealth pumps to a guy in trade for an adrenaline and will have one for sale at a reasonable price soon
