Disappointed with Adrenaline pump
I just finished my motor build this morning and fired it off. I will post pics here soon. I was checking for any fuel or oil leaks. What I found was that the Adrenaline pump was leaking oil out the back around the big snap ring. Has anyone else had this problem?

how could it leak if he tests them before shipping out?Does it not leak that bad or something so he might not of noticed it.

I know there a great pump. I was bummed to see that thing leaking. Its leaking enough to leave a little puddle in valley at idle.

Anything can go bad or have a defect that shows up at anytime. Give him a call. That is still a bummer when you go thru all that work and you just want to have everything happen work perfectly at that point.

I know of one other (on FTE). Bob replaced it no problem. I don't know where the leak was though.

Mine seems to be leaking too from the back cover as well last I checked. Let us know what you find out.

Hello everyone,
To address the concern over the leaky back cover, we do test every single unit without fail at 3000 psi before they are shipped, and if the back cover leaks, it gets fixed until it doesn't do so anymore. That being said, o-rings, which obviously we do not manufacture, can, do, and will fail without question at some point. In fact, the number one reason people order the Adrenaline in my estimation is because their pump is leaking out of some orifice, and we actually make every attempt possible to talk them out of their purchase if an o-ring swap can be the solution. (BTW, most wanted the pump anyway, so they were happy that they had a leak
). We have in fact sent out 15-20 replacement pumps for a leak of some type so that our customers weren't troubled with a persistent leak. Out of the 1,000+ pumps we have sold, that ain't too shabby.
On another note, we help everyone that has ever called us with an issue with their Adrenalines and will continue to do so. Customer service is paramount at Dieselsite.
