GQSSB turbo by wop

Considering purchasing a GQSSB turbo kit by wop, anybody have any thoughts on this turbo? Any statements appreciated, thanks.

Re: GQSSB turbo by wop

I know I'm a little bias, but it's a great turbocharger. Got one sitting hear ready to go on my little 2wd truck. Good spool-up, good towing ability, not too noisy, and with the mount kit it looks clean all installed.

What injector and tuning combo are you running? GQ works perfect at that 475-525hp range.

That is whats going into my current build. A bit more than a modded H2E but less than a 42. Flows 1150 CFM. I will be running mine with 238s. 238-250s seem to be a very good match for these from everything I have heard.

take a look in the WOP Dealer forum here It should give you explanations to your questions etc. Read the whole thing as most things are gone over so far.

I Have BTS tuning and dont know what injectors i have since i bought the truck used, however i have far to much heat for the stock turbo with wicked wheel that i highly overheated and burnt up while laying down excisive smoke. and i want at least 500 ++ hp. what is the 42? and what hp are you looking to achieve with your truck?

Re: GQSSB turbo by wop

well guy's after a bit of research an some other stuff i havent found much more info on the gqssb turbo other than mine should be here soon.

i was wondering if there was anyone else that has had any dealings with it since it has been out. the h2e has proven itself many times but the gqssb is new and just wondering if maybe jw had his truck on the dyno with it yet?
i know it has a decent sized exahust housing, just wondering if there are more than 2 guy's running it yet. i would like to know more on this turbo so i know what to expect at at least.
so if there are any more guy's running this turbo plz post up and let us know how it works for you in your driving condition's.
