6.0 turbo on a 7.3

Hey guys i have heard of putting a 6.0 turbo on a 7.3 can it be done?? If so what do i need to do it? And is it really worth it? Thanks

There is a guy on youtube that did drop a 6.0 turbo on a 7.3, it sounded so sweet! But he had to rig up his own VGT controller for the vaines so it was untuned and didn't hit topend and peak boost quite right. Look it up on youtube. I'm on my phone now otherwise id get the video for you. Its a white/beige 2 tone obs crewcab long bed

Thats so bad @$$. I have a 6.0 and a 7.3 turbo on my night stand and I have dreamed on how to do it but how would you rig up the VGT?

I know I got issues

08 F 450 King Ranch 6.4
Elite Race trans, Spartanized, ARP, Icon 4.5 on 35's, RDP boots, HID'S, OUO ladder bars, 3" I/C pipe
04 X 6.0
08 tow mirrors, ARP studs, RDP boots.
01 X 7.3, Dp, Cass 238/80 Hybrids, Terminator Dual pumps, TNBB holding on for dear life @40+psi, TE thermostat, ARP studs, Fluidampner, RDP 6637, RDP boots

The point is a dropin 38r would be a BETTER turbo to put on the truck then the 6.0 turbo AND you don't have to change anything pedistal wise.

6.0 guys have issues with not gettin enough air out of the factory turbo, so our higher displacement motor is gonna have even more trouble.
