most accurate boost location

what/where would be the most accurate spot to put your boost line, icpipe, sypder or the mapline?.i say map cuz thats what the comptuer is seeing from the motor but according to my brother tappin into the map line is incorrect/inaccurate. what is everyones oppions?

i've heard the same as far as the MAP line. with the spider off the truck i was able to drill and tap it just fine. the PITA part of it is the delicate tubing hangin right there in the bay which seems to be in the way every time i have to work on something.

Had it in the spyder for close to 3 years with no issues. Autometer gauge & no flutter.

Mines in the map. No flutter on my isspro gauge..

99.5 F250, 4x4, Lariat, CC/SB, 4r100 Gauges, Intake, Exhaust, Lots of black/smoked parts

On a newer truck the aih plug can be ordered with a tap...but early 99 won't have it.

Early 99 f350 4x4 crew cab, auto. pmt2 pcm
2001 cup holder ,T500, MAX AC ASSIST AC mod, Diy Twin tymar, TS chip, Powerslots & Hawk pads, ford AIC, ..... with big fat want to list.

that is where I planned to put mine. I was going to tap my own ( 5.9 oil plug flat face) but liked the anodized tapped ones I see for sale and may go that route.

Im currenly tapped into my map line but will soon tap the intake. I have'nt had any problems so far with fluttering.

Hopefully this link works. Couldn't make it all fancy. Worst case scenario, just copy and past the link to your browser.

Anyways, talk to Clay at Riff Raff Diesel. I've got one of these and they are pretty sweet. Accurate, look good, and no flutter in the gauge either.

I had flutter in the map on my isspro, no flutter in the AIH plug.

2002 f-350 PSD, 4x4, cc short bed, 6spd, ccv mod, airdog, AIS filter, isspro ev and scangauges, detroit TT, ITP boost annihalator, ITP RR, bellowed up-pipes, ats housing, turbomaster, 3.5 dp magnaflow, very happy with ultra smooth and linear PHP 50t, 80DD and "whisper" tunes.
