Another H2E question

What is the benifit of switching over to a H2E system over a drop in other than being able to upgrade turbos easier. Are the up-pipes better? Is there just a better setup? Does anyone other than hypermax make a kit? I used the search and found some answers I had, but not everything. Thanks guys and Merry Christmas.

Re: Another H2E question

So is the abelity to upgrade turbos the biggest draw to the H2E?

Re: Another H2E question

Also depends on the power levels you are looking at hitting.

Only if you want to slot the holes on any other STANDARD T4 charger on the market. Holset runs a different footprint than anyone else fyi.

Re: Another H2E question

Well I'm shooting for the 500-550. Kinda of looking for that max that is still "streetable". It is a DD but I want to be able to hit the strip and dust little ricers. I also know me and know that I never have enough.

Re: Another H2E question

So would you be talking about like T4 and T6 type turbos then? And is there a kit for those or will I be looking at custom fabbing something?

Re: Another H2E question

I have had both a 38r and now a stock H2E. The 38r spools instantly and is a very fun turbo with a set of mini me's. After installing the H2E, I can say it pulls harder up top than the 38r. IMO you can’t go wrong with either one.

BTW: I would also upgrade to the 1.15 non waste gated housing.
