building new motor

i am looking to build a 7.3 in my 96. i plow and tow so i would like to have plenty of power. do you guys have any ideas on what route to go,and if you have a built up 7.3 send me a pm on what you did and what it might cost. thanks

How much power is "plenty of power"? 400hp? 500hp? 700hp?

The costs increase exponentially from 400 to 700hp.
